Natural Stone remains the most preferred choice of landscape materials worldwide, and has been used throughout history, as there is no other material that can match the beauty, strength, and ability to withstand time.

Armour Stone (Retaining Walls)

  • Create beautiful retaining walls and garden definition with this large impressive stone. Armour stone is colourful, durable, weathers beautifully and has a noble past, being the stone of choice for building castles and mansions.
  • Armour stone is sold according to weight with standard sizing approximating 18"x24"x36".

“Rip Rap”
Ranges from 5 inches to 12 inches and is smaller than boulders yet still excessive in weight. Rip rap is a known product used for erosion control, wall fill and in the right area, can make for an attractive ground cover or rock wall.  

Coping & Curbing
Coping stone is a stone placed at the top of the wall to serve as a cover for the wall. Cut roughly and spaced irregularly, it creates a rustic appearance. They are available in an assortment of shapes, sizes and colours.

Curbs help to define your garden, patio and driveways and they can be matched with pavers for a uniform look. The main aim of landscaping is to create a smooth transition from the outdoors to the indoors and curbs help them do the same.

Ledge Rock, Wallstone, Building Stone
Natural wallstone provide a timeless beauty for any landscape project and are created and shaped in various sizes and in a variety of colours. Most popular uses are for decorative walls, retaining walls, rock gardens, borders, edging, columns, fireplaces, planters and even water features. These products can be use to create formal or rustic designs and installed as dry stacked or mortared.

Stone Steps, Slabs, Risers

  • Slabs - are used for walkways, steps, oversized retaining walls, and to create natural outcroppings.
  • Risers - are uniform in size and thickness for steps and risers.
  • Steps - If you have a steep incline, you will want a natural step look. Stone steps are available in three styles:
  • Sawed Steps: It is a rectangular shaped stone that is sawed on the top and bottom. These steps are often used for front walks and high traffic areas.
  • Split Steps: Stones are hydraulically split into rectangular shape retaining its natural appearance on each surface. They are often used for garden paths, front walks and stairways.
  • Quarry Steps: These are large pieces of stones set into ground. Even though the walking surface is flat these give an irregular look from top.

Waterfall Rockery
Looking to build a natural stream bed, pond or poolside waterfall as part of your landscaping plans? Then waterfall rockery needs full rounded edges to look realistic and can be found in fairly large slabs. These rocks can also be incorporated into pool construction to give the edges a natural look and can even include "diving rocks".

Moss Rock & Rockery
Mossy Rock stone provides a picturesque natural look to any landscape project, is available in a variety of shapes and sizes perfect for water features.

Strata Rock
With interesting pits and curves, this buff coloured stone adds texture and can also be easily stacked into a garden wall where moss and flowers can be planted into it.

Flagstone (Irregular)
Flagging is irregular-shaped pieces of natural stone and is perfect for creating paving, walkways, patios, pool decks, stepping stones, steps, wall caps, fireplace’s, columns, and tumbled flagstone available from small stepping-stones to large slabs.

Square Cut Flagstone
Sawn four sides, natural top and bottom. Use square cut flagstone for a cleaner, crisper appearance, available in a variety colours and textures.

Slate
One of the world's oldest natural products, slate stone slabs are available in various colours and shades. Slabs made from slate stone are available in a vast variety of colours like gray, blue, brown and green.

Since slate is naturally very dense, it easily resists moisture. Therefore slate provides a slip resistant surface that will minimize accidents and mishaps and also withstand years of high traffic. This is one of the reasons slate is a choice in many public areas.

Boulders & Fieldstone
Fieldstone - is the most multipurpose stone in the landscape industry. Fieldstone gives a unique, natural appearance and provides a broad versatility to projects requiring stone. The uses of this type of stone include stonewalls, borders, fireplace’s, edging, columns and in water features.

Boulders offer a sense of old world charm. These stones can be used as retaining walls, water features, benches, accents, and stepping-stones or as large decorative rocks, accent rocks & focal points. Some colours are black, black and white, grey, white, pink, green, etc…

On average a landscaping boulder will measure anywhere from 2 feet to 5 feet.  They are often used as accent pieces and bring a defining look to your property.  It's very important when purchasing boulders that you have the equipment to place them due to the excessive weight.
